Personal DNA
Feb 29th
I stumbled on a very interesting page I would like to share with you – it’s called Personal DNA. Here are my results (by the way the test is going to take a while, but it’s worth it).
You are a Creator
Your imagination, confidence, willingness to explore, and appreciation of beauty make you a CREATOR. You are independent, and you enjoy your self-sufficiency. Defying convention, you are very innovative, and you have a vivid imagination. The look of things is important to you, and you have a keen eye for aesthetic beauty in multiple arenas. You have a strong interest in what is new and exciting—and that includes forging ahead with new ideas, not simply discovering what is already out there. Your eagerness to seek new and varied experiences leads you into many different situations. You’re not set on one way of doing things, and you are creative when it comes to finding novel solutions to complex problems.
You trust yourself to be innovative and resourceful. Your confidence allows you to take your general awareness and channel it into creativity. You have a strong sense of style and value your personal presentation – friends may even seek your style advice from time to time.
Generally, you believe that you control your life, and that external forces only play a limited role in determining what happens to you.
You are Free-Wheeling
Your charismatic nature, liveliness, and independence make you FREE-WHEELING.You don’t mind being in the spotlight, preferring social gatherings to quiet nights at home. You take a practical approach to people, not getting too involved in their feelings—or their business. At the same time, your acceptance of others leads you to be understanding of their life circumstances, even if you don’t quite understand their emotional reactions to some things.
Although you have a wide circle of friends, you’re very discerning as to whom you can trust. You’re not rigid in your beliefs about the world, and you don’t want to impose your perspective on others, but at the same time, you know that plenty of people don’t always act responsibly. Engaging with others is a large part of how you live in the world, and most importantly, it plays a role in how you see yourself—you tend to learn a lot about yourself in situations where you are with other people. You have an understanding of the complexities of situations, and you don’t judge others too hastily.
Yes, we can
Feb 29th
All dreams and goals in life begin with a simple breath of hope that gains momentum with the energy of determination.
Sometimes, a hug is all we need.
Feb 29th
Free hugs is a real life controversial story of Juan Mann, a man who’s sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives. In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign became phenomenal.
As this symbol of human hope spread across the city, police and officials ordered the Free Hugs campaign banned. What we then witness is the true spirit of humanity come together in what can only be described as awe inspiring.

Trendspotting
Feb 28th
We are all aware that Google does everything better- even trends. Google Trends is the best thing since sliced bread and the wheel (probably even since man invented fire!). What’s it do you ask me?Well, it tracks trends in searching and gives a breakdown by such awesome categories as city, region, or language. Not only does it track trends, but it also provides a graph broken down to years and months.
Of course I couldn’t resist the temptation of searching my own name inside this nifty little webmaster tool that the almighty Google has bestowed us. It was pretty hard for me to think of the “competition, so instead I compared the search trends with my favorite artists I was listening at the time. Here are the facts (for last year):

Seems Brandon Flowers (lead singer from The Killers band) sure knows how to put up a fight. On the other hand take a look at Brian Molko, singer from Placebo – he is not even trying! (I rekkon it has something to do with Placebo’s breaking up last year).

Of course, my name is no match against Oprah – I really think she is God! Oh well it was worth a shot.

In case you are still skeptical about the results, feel free to test these hard facts for yourselves.
Why should you say no to alcohol?
Feb 26th
Alcohol is a drug and you can become addicted to it. Alcohol changes the way your mind and your body work. Even one beer can slow your reactions and confuse your thinking. This means anything that requires concentration and coordination–like driving–is dangerous when you’ve had a drink.
Alcohol also changes the way you act. It can make you let go of the feelings that keep you from doing things you know are risky or dangerous. This can lead you to make bad decisions–like having unsafe sex or driving when you know you shouldn’t. You might think that it won’t happen to you, but everyone knows someone who has said that and then ended up hurt.
What problems can alcohol cause?
Alcohol can ruin your health. The more you drink, the more damage is done. You can get alcohol poisoning if you drink too much. As the level of alcohol in your blood rises, the chemicals in your body can cause vomiting or seizures, or you may pass out.
And now, our drinking game for today!
The rules are so easy, a drunk person could understand. All you need for this game is a sixpack, a box, and people to play it with you.
Take one can. Shake it. Now I don’t mean just shake it, I mean SHAKE the sucker! Till it’s about to blow up. Then put it in the box with the others and mix them around (one person not looking) and then switch them around again (the other person not looking) Basically, nobody knows where it is.
Now, one person picks a can, holds it to his/her head at an angle, and opens it. If it’s not the one, s/he has to drink it. If it is the one, s/he gets a wet head and you can start all over or whatever.
Have fun kids, and remember, reality is an illusion created by a lack of alcohol.
