A couple in bed

One night, after a couple had retired for the night, the woman became aware that her husband was touching her in a most unusual manner.

He started by running his hand across her shoulders and the small of her back.

He ran his hand over her breasts, touching them very lightly.

Then, he proceeded to run his hand gently down her side, sliding his hand over her stomach, and then down the other side to a point below her waist.

He continued on, gently feeling her hips, first one side and the other.

His hand ran further down the outside of her thighs.

His gentle probing then started up the inside of her left thigh, stopped and then returned to do the same to her right thigh.

By this time, the woman was becoming aroused and she squirmed a little to better position herself.

The man stopped abruptly and rolled over to his side of the bed.

‘Why are you stopping darling?’ she whispered.

He whispered back, ‘I found the remote.’

The ripest fruit falls by itself

China is said to have more proverbs than anywhere else on Earth. The orgins of some are lost in the mists of time. Others appear to be related to comments by Confucius and other ancient sages. Some also appear elsewhere, such as in the form of Zen sayings extant in Japan. Most of those below are in the rendering of Chinese Proverbs from Olden Times, Peter Pauper Press, Mt. Vernon, N.Y. , 1956. Those marked with stars are proverbs that appear in the above book, but the form given here is my own rendering or a rendering or translation that I have come across elsewhere.

Big bad wolves

A multi-award-winning and hilarious short film from New Zealand, released in 2006.

Five mobsters sit in a diner and pass the time between jobs by talking about the ways of the world. One of them suddenly suggests that the story of “Little Red Riding Hood” is actually a morality tale about sex-education. When the others don’t believe him, he retells the story as it was meant to be told.

Tarantino-mashes-up-with-Brothers-Grimm in this dark and intensely funny fantasy/comedy that will change the way you look at fairytales forever!

This movie has been voluntarily rated R-16 for foul language and horror-violence.

The world as I see it

How strange is the lot of us mortals! Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he sometimes thinks he senses it. But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people — first of all for those upon whose smiles and well-being our own happiness is wholly dependent, and then for the many, unknown to us, to whose destinies we are bound by the ties of sympathy. A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving…

My cooking..

A: cum poti sa faci asa ceva
A: asa de bun
A: si sa mananci singur
George Man: dracu stie

Translation: How can you cook something like that, so good, and eat by yourself? Hell if I know.

Old habits die hard..

What have I got? Really? Some money in my pocket. Some nice threads. Fancy car at my disposal. And I’m single. Unattached. Free as a bird. I don’t depend on nobody. Nobody depends on me. My life’s my own. But I don’t have peace of mind. And if you don’t have it, you’ve got nothing.

Decisions, decisions

Decision making can be regarded as an outcome of mental processes leading to the selection of a course of action among several alternatives. Every decision making process produces a final choice. The output can be an action or an opinion of choice. (Wikipedia)

If it only were that easy!

The end of the world 2

Two men pursuing a lawsuit in a court in Hawaii, think a giant particle accelerator that will begin smashing protons together outside Geneva this summer might produce a black hole that will spell the end of the Earth – and maybe the universe. (via Herald Tribune)

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world’s largest particle accelerator complex, intended to collide opposing beams of 7 TeV protons. Its main purpose is to explore the validity and limitations of the Standard Model, the current theoretical picture for particle physics. The LHC was built by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), and lies under the Franco-Swiss border near Geneva, Switzerland. (via Wikipedia)

According to the CERN press release, they announced that the first attempt to circulate a beam in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will be made on September 10th. You can follow the progress via live webcast here.

What does GOD think about this? I asked him myself. Here’s the short conversation.

George Man: daca ne inghite o gaura neagra?
George Man: iesim dezbracati pe drum?
GOD: GOD SAYS THAT THE WORLD SHALL NOT END!

Hope you are all relieved now, enjoy the webcast. ;)

LATER EDIT: My power is out, I’m writing on my notebook, battery won’t hold long. See you all on the other side!

Sebutza Show
