Editors hack Google Street View in London
Oct 19th
Editors hack Google Street View to create a unique album listening experience. The application allows users to travel via Street View to areas of London where the band have hacked in their own custom locations. Within each location the user will hear music from the new album In This Light And On This Evening, inspired by the mood and magic of London at night. Each of the nine tracks on the album has it’s own location.
The images feature Editors and a group of fans performing surreal activities which reportedly have hidden meanings relating to the songs. The locations are normally unavailable on the regular Street View. Editors modified version of Google Maps allows users to enter into these locations and make the transition from light to dark so users can explore Editors atmospheric vision of London at night.

Campaign “Let’s Do It!” -- a grassroot initiative to clean up the country from illegal waste in just one day. There was over 10 000 tons of illegal waste lying around all over Estonia and it was an outrageous plan — to clean it all up on one day! More than 600 volunteers were working to make it all happen with only 3 full-time employees. On May 3, 2008 with help of 50 000 volunteers more than 10 000 tons of garbage gathered and Estonia was cleaned up from illegal waste. http://www.teeme2008.ee

This Song Around The World is a folk tune from Chennai, India. We started the track in New Orleans and added musicians from the across the globe before finally delivering it the people of it’s origin. We ended up in Chennai recording and filming the vocals from the Oneness Choir. The track has a feeling of perseverance and joy and features vocalists from four continents.
http://playingforchange.com -- From the award-winning documentary, “Playing For Change: Peace Through Music”, comes the first of many “songs around the world” being released independently. Featured is a cover of the Ben E. King classic by musicians around the world adding their part to the song as it travelled the globe.
